How to Make Your YouTube Videos More Accessible: Tips and Best Practices

February 10, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm EST

$55.00

Self-Paced Learning

More and more organizations are creating videos and posting them on YouTube. Many have taken advantage of not only the ease and reach of YouTube but its accessibility features in supporting Closed Captioning to reach a wider audience. This 90-minute webinar will give you the tips and best practices to help you make your YouTube videos more accessible.

Ontario-based organizations are increasingly aware of the AODA’s Web requirements to help ensure everyone has access to online content – though many are not aware that accurate captioning is actually a basic, WCAG 2.0 Level A necessity.  Gain better familiarity with these acronyms, what they mean in plain English with regards to delivering web content accessibly via YouTube, and how to caption in a way that provides optimal comprehension while meeting legal compliance.

Handouts will be given.
