Our Team

Accessibility Services Canada is a training and development organization that helps nonprofits and businesses in Canada to understand and comply with provincial accessibility legislations. We assist organizations to be more inclusive of a diverse range of clients and employees and we have helped thousands of organizations successfully meet, and exceed, their legal requirements.

Our team of specialists each have more than 15 + years of dedicated work in the field of accessibility. A trusted and respected provider of training and consultation on accessibility, Accessibility Services Canada brings solutions to your organization’s needs at each phase of  compliance. Whether it is risk mitigation, barrier identification, accessibility audits, document remediation or training requirements, we are committed to meeting the accessibility needs of all organizations.

When we started this work in 2009, Ontario was leading the charge in accessibility and, from 2009 to 2019, we operated as “Accessibility Ontario”. In June 2019, as more provinces had passed their own accessibility legislation, we changed our name to “Accessibility Services Canada” in order to better serve and reflect the increasing number of clients from across the country.

Education and Outreach Initiatives

For over 12 years, we have been designing and delivering year-long accessibility projects, funded by the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario (Ontario Government), in partnership with provincial organizations. The first project was in 2010 with the Ontario Nonprofit Network and our most recent project, our fourth with the Ontario BIA Association, was focused on the accessibility of heritage buildings . We designed and delivered the “Accessing Our Heritage” virtual conference held in October 2021.
